Because Mattel decided not to distribute the
toys domestically and there was no longer a way to turn a
profit for Hallmark.

there a chance that the show might get picked up by
another station now?
One can assume that CSATSM might end up on one
of the networks co-owned by Hallmark, meaning the Odyssey Channel in the U.S.
and/or the Kermit
Channel internationally.
