| SimianCode
is just another code like you might have seen
around the Net. It's loosely based on the Geek Code,
the Animaniacs
Code, the Furry
Code, the Cat
Code, the Lion
King Code, the Meta
Geek Code, the Sophie
B. Hawkins Code, the Morse
Code, the Dress
Code, and the Code
Code. Put your
SimianCode at the end of your e-mails, in your
newsgroup signature, on your web site, wherever.
I'd love to hear your suggestions for any sort of
improvement; e-mail splitzy@spacemonkeys.net. |
 |
| Format |
| To
distinguish the code from other codes, the Simian
Code always starts with SimianCode,
the version number 1.0, and the
address www.spacemonkeys.net/code.
You don't have to include every category; if you
wish to not answer one, just skip it. Put spaces
between each category; otherwise, it will
probably run off the edge of the page. Be sure to
match the case that the category uses. |
 |
| Modifiers |
| Use these
symbols to modify a category. |
| / |
Used when
two different values apply.
Example: If you hated Matrix in "Repo
Ape," but really liked him in "A
Clockwork Orang," put: MT--/++ |
| () |
Indicates a
range of feelings.
Example: If your thoughts for Orbitron range
all over the place, put: OR---(+++) |
| ~ |
Indicates
indecision.
Example: If you don't remember if you started
watching in 1996 or 1997, put: V96~97 |
| ? |
Indicates
something you don't know about.
Example: If you don't know what the SpotSM
Forum is, put: P? |
| > |
Indicates a
rating you hope to attain.
Example: If you have talked with Gordon
Bressack, and wish you were him, put: Cg+>@ |
 |
